Southern Maryland Outdoor Power Equipment has been serving Southern Maryland since 2005. We are a high-volume repair shop specializing in outdoor power equipment, mowers, handheld tools, tractors, and golf carts. Our shop is fast-paced, and we’re looking for an experienced Small Engine Mechanic who can keep up and deliver top-quality repairs.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair 2-cycle and 4-cycle small engines.
Perform advanced electrical diagnosis and repairs.
Complete internal engine repairs
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, fuel, and ignition systems.
Work efficiently to complete repairs in a timely manner while maintaining accuracy.
Collaborate with the service team to keep workflow on track and customers satisfied.
Maintain a clean and professional work area.
Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of small engines (2-cycle & 4-cycle).
Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems and internal engine failures.
Must have your own tools.
Experience in a high-volume repair environment strongly preferred.
Ability to work efficiently and complete repairs on time.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Team-oriented attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction.
