• During initial license training, Total compension earnings eligibility ranging from $159,000.00 to $182,000.00 per year (depending on experience and past license stus) including a 15% annual incentive bonus, an initial sign-on bonus, $10,000 bonus spread through training milestones, a comprehensive benefits package, and a 401k with employer mching on contributions.
• After obtaining SRO license, Total compension earnings eligibility from $191,000.00 per year, including a target 15% annual bonus, License Premium, as well as, extended hours pay 1.5 times the base salary (expressed on hourly basis) involving manded operion shift coverage.  

Constellion is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become a licensed Senior Reactor Operor (SRO) supporting Calvert Cliffs Genering Stion loced in Lusby, MD.

Primary Purpose of Position

The primary purpose of this position is to train and prepare to perform the duties of an Operions Shift Supervisor who holds a Senior Reactor Operor (SRO)License. Upon completion of training the candide will be fully licensed by the Nuclear Regulory Commission (NRC) to supervise the licensed activities of licensed reactor operors in the reactor control room. They will also be trained to directly supervise bargaining unit reactor operors and equipment operors generally.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) which includes classroom training and examinion, along with on-the-job training and evaluion.
• Successfully complete all phases of training to obtain an SRO license in order to perform the duties of an Operions Shift Supervisor.
• Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.

Minimum Qualificions

• High school diploma/GED
• Meet or exceed one of the following: 1 year Reactor Operor license a comparable facility or 1.5-years a noncomparable facility. Comparable is PWR to PWR or BWR to BWR and noncomparable is PWR to BWR or BWR to PWR. 1.5-years or more in a position equivalent to Reactor Operor (or Supervisor) military reactor (i.e., Power Plant Wch Engineer, Engineering Wch Supervisor, Reactor Operor, Engineering Officer of the Wch, Propulsion Plant Wch Supervisor). Must have 1.5-years after qualificion. Degree from a 4-year program or equivalent in engineering, engineering technology or physical sciences, or professional engineer license, and more than 1.5-years as a qualified non-licensed operor or a Staff member, Supervisor or Manager in work control, operions, engineering, outage management, maintenance, radiion protection, chemistry, or accredited training a comparable (BWR or PWR) facility. Managerial, staff engineer, or supervisor experience noncomparable plant may be credited on a 1.5:1.0 basis (i.e., over 2.25-years required for noncomparable facility), and 3-years required for a nontraditional degree.
• Current or previous SRO Instructor certificion and 4 years experience a comparable facility OR 6 years experience a non-comparable facility
• Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examinion and/or testing in accordance with position duties
