The Sunn Concert Controller 2 is a vintage, 8-channel solid-state powered mixer from the 1970s. While it was originally designed for use as a public address (PA) system, it is known for its distinct, high-gain sound and has become a sought-after piece of gear for musicians. Some claim that Leslie West of the band Mountain famously used one of these as a guitar pre-amp to achieve his signature sound.

Solid-state construction: Unlike Sunn's more famous tube amplifiers, the Concert Controller 2 uses a solid-state design.
Powered mixer: It contains its own power amp, with a similar output stage to the company's "silver face" era Concert Lead and Concert Bass amps.
8 channels: The console has eight channels, each with 1/4" and XLR inputs, as well as individual volume and tone controls.
