We are looking for skid steer operators with or without their own machine who can provide snow removal service for our commercial clients. Applicants must have prior skid steer experience, be dependable, and available during snow events including overnight and extended hours. This is fast paced work during active storms and requires attention to details and safe equipment operation.

Please note that this is an ON-CALL, AS-NEEDED position during snowstorms (including but not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays).
Opportunity Pays
Pay for Owner operated (It’s your Machine): $200.00
Pay for Non-owner operated: $125.00
Qualifications
• Owner Operated Skid Steer/bobcat must have insurance
• 2 yrs of equipment operating experience is a necessity
• This work is on a “as needed" basis or “stand by” basis
• Related work experience is a necessity
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Make judgments regarding the most efficient operations of equipment and attachments
• “Home Safe Tonight” and related policies “AIPS”
• Must have very good hand, foot and eye coordination to safely operate their equipment
• Compliance with Allan Myers Policies including but not limited to:
• Equipment repair / maintenance procedures and Operator Safety Standards
• Safety, Safety, Safety!
• Requires extensive and heavy physical activity and dexterity
• Must be able to operate for long periods of time and to get into awkward positions when cleaning and providing maintenance to the equipment
• Requires the ability to stand, walk, reach, kneel, climb or balance
• Must be able to carry or handle materials sometimes up to 75 pounds
• Requires specific types of vision: close, color, peripheral
• Assigned work during the snow season typically during the months of December – April. You MUST be confirmed on-site for each service to receive this payment.
• We DO NOT provide Salt. Must Provide Own Salt (can be purchased cheap and in bulk from various outlets).
• We are looking for professionals with positive attitude.
Responsibilities
• This position is responsible for operating one or more types of snow‑removal equipment, including but not limited to plow trucks, skid steers, front‑end loaders, sidewalk machines, and salt or brine spreaders. The operator supports all snow and ice management activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely clearing of assigned roadways, parking lots, and pedestrian areas during winter weather events.
• Operators are responsible for safe operation, non-mechanical maintenance and up-keep of equipment
• Discusses plans and goals for the day's work with field manager and determines best method of getting assigned work done safely, productively and on time
• Performs physical duties that are commonly associated with the safe and productive operation of said piece of equipment
• Performs equipment maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing and maintaining fluid levels on equipment
• Operates equipment with priority of making the job safe for all persons working around the equipment
• Communicates clearly with other crew members in a manner corresponding with teamwork in order to accomplish daily goals
• Responsible for safety of self and fellow workers
• Work conditions vary from site to site and are affected by the weather
Payments
• We do not disburse payments in cash. Instead, payment will be processed through standard channels.
• At the end of the fiscal year, you will receive 1099 for tax reporting purposes.
• 7-day net pay (we will pay within 7-days after job completion and all paperwork (including invoices if applicable) & photos submitted).
